How do I ask my teacher for a refund or lesson rescheduling?

On rare occasions, teachers may have personal or technical issues that prevent them from making your lesson.

If your teacher had connection/technical/personal issues after the lesson started and that prevented you from taking a lesson, you can request partial or full refund or rescheduling this lesson:

* Go to your Dashboard.

* Find the lesson, click on the little arrow and select “Report issue to Teacher”.

* In the pop-up screen, check the check box next to relevant reason.

* Optionally, include comments about the situation. These comments will be communicated to your teacher.

* Click “Report”.

* Your teacher will have 48 hours to resolve the issue.

My lesson expired. How do I reactivate it?

All Verbling lessons expire 6 months after the purchase date. Expired lessons are unable to be scheduled or canceled until they are reactivated in your Verbling dashboard.

To reactivate an expired lesson, please reach out to support@verbling.com. They would be happy to help you reactivate them.

Please note: Reactivated lessons are active for 90 days. After 90 days, their system will expire unscheduled lessons without the possibility to reactivate them again, so please schedule them promptly. They are not able to reactivate expired lessons after 1 year from their purchase date.

How do I cancel my scheduled lesson?

If it is more than 12 hours before your lesson’s starting time, and the lesson time is no longer convenient but you wish to take this lesson with this teacher at another time, you should reschedule your lesson. For help with rescheduling your lesson, please see “How do I reschedule or unscheduled my lesson?”

If you want to cancel your scheduled lesson, because you are not willing to take lessons with that teacher anymore, please, first unscheduled the lesson, then cancel it.

If it is less than 12 hours before your lesson’s starting time, you may cancel your lesson and get a 50% refund in the form of Verbling credit. Another 50% of the lesson’s cost will be paid to your teacher.

Can I get a refund if I am unhappy with my teacher?

If you do not wish to continue with your particular teacher on Verbling, you may cancel all remaining lessons for an automatic Verbling credit refund. You can use your Verbling credit to book with a different teacher on Verbling.

I was incorrectly charged. What can I do?

If you feel you have been charged in error, please contact Verbling at support@verbling.com with a detailed explanation and they will be happy to investigate. Refund requests must be received by Verbling within 30 days of the charge in order to be considered.
